3.The Process

Step 1: Discovery & Brand Direction

  • We’ll begin with a focused consultation to understand the vision behind Semi-Sweet.

  • We’ll clarify the audience, brand personality, visual preferences, packaging needs, and long-term goals.

  • I’ll review the premium beverage space to help shape a direction that feels distinctive and commercially relevant.

Step 2: Creative Concept Development

  • I’ll develop the core visual direction for Semi-Sweet based on what we define together.

  • This will explore the logo, typography, color palette, and overall look and feel of the brand.

  • The strongest direction will be presented with clear rationale, so each creative choice feels intentional.

Step 3: Brand System & Asset Creation

  • Once the direction is approved, I’ll build out the selected brand assets.

  • This may include the logo system, color palette, typography, packaging system, presentation assets, and digital brand elements.

  • The focus will be on creating a polished, flexible system that can grow across flavors, platforms, and future product lines.

Step 4: Final Handover & Guidance

  • All approved files will be prepared and delivered in the required formats.

  • I’ll provide clear guidance on how to use the brand system with consistency.

  • The final handover will support use across packaging, digital platforms, presentations, and future creative materials.

4. Timelines & Milestones

Proposed Timeline

Phase 1: Brand Identity Development — 1 to 2 weeks
This includes discovery, creative direction, logo system, color palette, typography direction, and the core visual identity.

Phase 2: Brand Guidelines — 1 week
Once the identity is approved, the brand standards can be documented: logo usage, colors, typography, visual style, and application guidance.

Phase 3: Packaging / Can Design System — 1 to 2 weeks
This depends heavily on whether the can format, dieline, product claims, ingredients, UPC, and production details are ready. If those are already available, this can move faster. If not, it may need more time.

Phase 4: Presentation & Digital Assets — 1 to 2 weeks
This includes the PowerPoint template, website assets, social graphics, email signature, and any additional supporting brand elements selected in the final package.

The estimated project timeline is approximately 4 to 7 weeks, depending on the final selected scope, feedback turnaround time, and the availability of packaging content such as dielines, product claims, ingredients, nutrition details, UPC information, and production specifications.
